What is MIXTT?
MIXTT is a fresh look at how we can use the Internet to go out and meet new people. Instead of creating a profile and connecting with people you already quasi know (as on other social networks), you and your friends create a group profile and make plans to meet up with other groups of friends. It's the way you probably meet new people in real life, now made easier with MIXTT. Want to find a group of guys to play basketball with this weekend? Or sync up with that cute group of girls going to the same concert as you on Friday? You can make it happen easily with MIXTT.
The MIXTT Team
-
- Eve Peters, Founder & CEO - Eve grew up in Los Angeles and moved to San Francisco following her undergraduate education at Stanford in 2004. After working in the SF Financial District for three years, she headed to Buenos Aires, Argentina, to become fluent in Spanish while getting a taste of "the good life." There she met entrepreneurs - starters of wineries, good-for-your-brain snack bars, tea shops, and tech companies - who urged her to follow through with the then half-baked plan to build this website. She thanks everyone who has provided input and encouragement along the way, and hopes you have a lot of fun as a result of using MIXTT.
-
- Diana Agraz, EVP & CMO - Diana is a farm girl and entrepreneur at heart. She was born in Mexico and grew up helping her parent's start their own produce business in Central California. While learning how to grow, pick and sell fresh fruits and vegetables she also devoted herself to school and sports. After graduating from Stanford in 2004 she continued living in the Bay Area with a brief escape to Europe and Africa for a few months. Currently she resides in SF and is super excited to be a part of the MIXTT team.

- Disco Andrew Gerdes, Developer Extraordinaire - Andrew grew up in 5 countries: the USA, Australia, England, Germany, and Texas. After completing a graduate degree in Logic from Carnegie Mellon, he worked in gaming mathematics and then extreme event prediction at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Andrew landed in Argentina in 2006 and has been working as an internet developer there ever since. When not working like crazy or learning Spanish, he runs, skis, and dances.
